Meet the Counselors

Meet Mrs. Tanesky
I joined Lafayette Meadows as a full time school counselor in 2013.  Prior to my position at Lafayette Meadows, I had two years of experience working as a long term substitute elementary counselor for Whitley County and East Noble Schools.  I received my bachelors in psychology and my masters in school counseling from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne.  I was a social worker with Network for Safe Families and SCAN for 7 years prior to becoming a counselor.  I love working with families and children.  I have two daughters and we enjoy camping, kayaking, and road trips.  My favorite part of being a school counselor is seeing my students overcome obstacles and succeed at school.  I am looking forward to another great year of working with students! I will be working with grades K-2 this year.
