Popsicle Party

This is a social gathering for families to get to know one another. The Flower and Garden show will also take place during this time. Volunteers will help plan and set up the event, serve popsicles, serve drinks and clean up after the event.

School Carnival

This event is held at LME and includes a basket raffle, games, bounce houses, pony rides and many fun family activities. This year we will also be holding our Color Run on the same evening. All proceeds go directly to the classrooms.

Book Fair

LME has two book fairs, one in the fall and one in the spring. The book fair hours are during school hours, 3 days during the book fair week. We also have book fair hours 2 mornings before school during Muffins for Mom in the Fall and Donuts with Dad in the Spring. The committee will create a sign-up genius for volunteers, coordinate volunteers and help set up and tear down during the book fairs.

Muffins with Mom

Volunteers will set up for Muffins with Mom in the cafeteria. The PTC will host students with their mothers or another important person in their life to enjoy a muffin and the book fair before school starts. The book fair is open during this time to shop and enjoy books together. Volunteers will help plan and set up the event as well as serve muffins and drinks.

Donuts with Dad

Volunteers help to plan and set up the event which takes place in the cafeteria. Students enjoy a donut and coffee with dad or another important person in their life before shopping at the book fair together. Volunteers will set up for the event, serve donuts and drinks and clean up after the event.

Holiday Shop

Volunteers will help shop, price, set up and sell items to students during school hours. Volunteers will also help with tear down on Friday.

Glow Ball Dance

Volunteers will help with planning, set up, food and beverages, supervision during the dance and clean up afterwards.

COLOR Run

LME will host a Color Run this school year in March. Volunteers will help set up the course, set up the obstacles, set up the sponsor stations and water tables, set up the color stations and clean up after the event. All proceeds will go to the environmental center.

Flower and Vegetable Show

LME students have an opportunity to plant seeds and grow plants! In winter, seed order forms are sent home with students. In spring, volunteers will distribute small plant and seed orders to students. In the fall, volunteers will assist parents and students at LME's Flower and Vegetable Show. Volunteers will help with set up and tear down of the show.
